Each kit comes with an amazingly inspirational sketch by Charlotte (Suepup), and here is this month's sketch:

Oh is that not a yummy sketch!!!!
And here is my take on the sketch, featuring  a photo, Quoth the Raven by *MADmoiselleMeli.

If you would like to check out how I built this layout from start to finish, as well as see some of the techniques that I used broken down, then check out my Pandora's Box Video on the Scraps Of Darkness Website!!

This next project is a Halloween Mini Album that I created using this month's Creativity Kit, along with some Kit and Add On pieces. This month's kit is a FABulous way to take your scrapping off the page and get super creative!!!

Scraps Of Darkness October Creativity Kit

I loved that the album had a canvas cover and some canvas pages, that were perfect for coloring up with the Gelatos in the Creativity Kit and the Dylussions mists that were in this month's Color Add On.

The Graphic 45 Papers were perfect for fussy cutting out, and this page features a pull out tag made from the G45 Chipboard pieces in the C. K.
Are those little sunflowers not sweet? They were a gift my my Scraps Of Darkness Sister Michelle Phillips (Bubbachooka). Thank you Mish!

I created a little journaling spot using one of the Carta Bella Stickers.

I love layers, dimension and texture and this Creativity Kit was  perfect for it!!

Another Journaling spot.

That's a wrap on the mini album!!

This month Melinda Kelly, the owner of Scraps of Darkness is hosting a "Bring On The Darkness" challenge. Anyone who knows Mel, knows that she loves Halloween and she just can't resist doing lots of fun stuff surrounding her fav holiday!!!

Bring On The Darkness Challenge

Create something DARK!   It can be a layout, an altered item, whatever you want.
It must be "dark". What you consider that to be is up to your interpretation, and what you are comfortable with.

Keep it R rated or less.

Post it in the Scraps Of Darkness gallery and in the Challenge Forum thread.

Post it on SB.com with the challenge listed in your description, and Scraps of Darkness listed in the title.

Use at least 50% Scraps of Darkness or Scraps of Elegance products on your project.
You have from now until October 31st.

The winner will be chosen by Melinda, and the way she will choose is by what she considers to be "the darkest". (And what does she consider dark? Well that is for you to guess and her to know!) The winner will be announced on November 1st, in the forum Challenge thread and on the Scraps Of Darkness Blog. The winner will receive the November Main Kit for free (not including shipping or taxes, if applicable - just the kit :D )

And here is my fun entry for the challenge.

It is an altered Printer Tray and shows once again the versatility of the kit. Not everyone likes to stay on the page, and our kits can go anywhere, from a layout, to mini album, to an altered project, to cards. Whatever your imagination can dream of, our kits can help you make it a reality!!!

And Now, I am doing a blog hop prize!!! The lucky winner will get a $15.00 Gift Certificate to the Scraps Of Darkness Store!!!!  If you haven't ever checked it out, the store is filled with the latest and greatest products including lots of Dusty Attic Chipboard and our very own Drycha's Third Eye Stamps!!! All you have to do to enter for the prize is follow my blog, and the Scraps of Darkness blog. I will announce my winner October 18th, so be sure to check back to see if you have won!!!

Your next stop is Karen Zueger's Blog-lostcoastscrapper.blogspot.com- I saw some sneak peeks of her work, and just from those, I am positive you will not be disappointed!!! Have Fun, and Happy Halloween!!!

REALLY like your altered tray piece and the photo album. Heck I liked the LO too, especially the black lace piece you used at the bottom. This kit is really versatile and I like a lot of the pieces included in it.
