Fairy Garden Party Altered Purse Diorama~

When I was a little girl, I loved creating magical, little miniature fairy gardens!! So many of my Reneabouquets Products stem from the things that I have loved doing my whole life!! I love taking things that I imagine and bringing them to life, and I hope you enjoy this 4 D Fairy Garden Altered Purse Diorama that I created with the products that I create for my Reneabouquets shops!

I started with a Beautiful Board 4D Purse With Large Shelf Do It Yourself Laser Cut Chipboard Kit. I engineered these purse kits to assemble with a unique snap and lock system that allows you to easily put them together with no glue required. You can find the assembly video here:

Before I assembled my purse, I used the pieces as templates to cut all my paper pieces. I used paper from the Blue Fern Garden Life Collection  to create this piece.

I took a Beautiful Board Large Decorative Scroll Frame  and inked it with a Bundled Sage

Ranger Tim Holtz Mini Distress Ink Pad , cut the "A Fairy Good Life" piece from the papers and mounted it in the frame, and then popped a Pink Pearl And Rhinestone Button  at the top of the frame, a Printed Beautiful Board Large Junie B Darling With Basket Laser Cut Chipboard to the right hand side of the frame, and one of her butterflies at the top left hand corner, and then made a little flower cluster with flowers from the following sets:

Pink & White Roses & Leaves Mulberry Paper Flowers

Next, I decorated the large shelf using a
Beautiful Board Large Gothic Gate Laser Cut Chipboard that I painted with Ranger Tim Holtz Opaque Crackle Texture Paste , let dry and then brushed over it for highlights with some Ranger Tim Holtz Mini Distress Ink Pad  in Scattered Straw, inked the little latch that comes with the gate, added that and then tied a tiny key from the Reneabouquets Keys Trinkets Pack to the latch, added some flowers from the following sets:

Mini Pink Sorbet Mulberry Paper Roses & Leaves Set

I added some inked pieces from the Beautiful Board Small April In Paris Adornment Pattern, topped them with little roses from the Mini Dusty Blue Set, added some

Printed Beautiful Board Small Tuck It In Cherry Blossoms Laser Cut Chipboard pieces to the top of the shelf and topped them with a butterfly from the Printed Beautiful Board Junie's Butterflies Laser Cut Chipboard Set

To create the garden path look you see here, I spread
Ranger Tim Holtz Texture Paste  onto the bottom of the shelf with a Ranger Ink Dina Wakley Media Palette Knife and then colored some

Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits - Stones Laser Cut Chipboard and pushed them into the texture paste like you would mortar. I love how this turned out!!!

For this sweet little fairy wheelbarrow part of the diorama I used a

Beautiful Board 4D Garden Party Wheelbarrow Do It Yourself Chipboard Kit. This piece snaps together (no glue required) in 3 easy steps and you can find the assembly video for it here:
4D Wheelbarrow Assembly Video

Once I snapped my wheelbarrow together, I put Teddy Bear Fluff into it,

topped it with a
Large Pink Chiffon, Pearl And Rhinestone Flower, and then glued a piece of wire to a Small Vintage Rose Petal Fairy Premium Paper Die Cut, pushed the wire through a large butterfly from my Aurora Borealis In Blue Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterflies, and then added that piece to the large chiffon flower.

I then added mulberry flowers to the wheelbarrow from the following sets:

The front of my diorama was now completed, and here is a side angle,

I wanted to complete the back side for a gorgeous view from all sides, so I added a

Beautiful Board Garden Party ~ Garden Gate Laser Cut Chipboard that I crackle painted and inked to match the Gothic Gate on the front. I then cut out a little sign from the Garden Life Papers, and popped on some Premium Paper Watercolor Spun Lavender Double Side Printed Butterflies

Next, I fussy cut out a fairy from the papers and glitter painted her up and then attached her to a

Printed Beautiful Board Medium Victorian Umbrella Corners Laser Cut Chipboard so that it looks like she is sitting in the umbrella, added another Double Side Printed Magical Miniature Butterfly, flower that match the flowers on the front side and more of those sweet, little Ivy Vine Tuck Ins.

For the pockets of the purse, I created 3 double sided, pull out, Tag pieces.

The large tag is a

Beautiful Board 6 Piece Butterfly Scroll Tag Laser Cut Chipboard Set. I took the tag base and covered it with Garden Life Papers, and then added the Butterfly that comes with it to the top, and then inked the scroll (they also come with the tag set) and popped them on. I love dimension and this piece was created so that you get the .072 Inch Thick dimension of the first chipboard layer, and then another .072 inch thick dimension with the scroll pieces.

The two smaller tags are the

Beautiful Board 4 Piece Rose Tag Laser Cut Chipboard Set.

They come with a premium paper layer that I covered with matching papers, and then added the tag overlay that I colored with Distress Ink Markers. The tags are made with holes that house Reneabouquet Beautiful Beads. I just added glue to the premium paper that cover that back sides of the holes and popped in some of the 4mm beads from the Reneabouquets Beautiful Beads in Citrus Breeze , and I love the unique look this gives the tags.

This is the 2nd tag that I created exactly like the first.

And this is the backside of the tags that I added a butterfly that was cut from Butterfly Lace to.

Here is the finished piece with all of it's little treasures!!
I had so much fun creating this piece, so worth the time and all the detail work that went into it. It will make someone a really magical keepsake.
As an artist, I hope you love the originality and intricacy of the products that I design. I also hope that when you create with my products, it is fun, pushes you to create in a way you haven't before and that the results bring you great creative joy!! Hugs ~Renea
