Scraps Of Elegance September Kit~Mary's Song

The Scraps Of Elegance September Kit~Mary's Song was unveiled September 3rd and it is a natural beauty for sure!! I just love the Shabby/Country Chic feel to this kit. Melinda says that this kit reminds her of her Grandmother, and it so reminds me of the feel of my childhood when I used to spend so much time with my Granny as well.

The following layout refelects my love of the Country life and of horses. I think I captured some of my heart with this one!

I started with 2 different layers of the gorgeous Blue Fern Papers from the kit that I heavily distressed the edges on.  I then took some kit paper that had a lattice design on it and I cut it so that I had open and peek a boo parts.

Next, I layered in some of my Reneabouquets Butterfly Rings  that come in my brand new Reneabouquets Collections~Pinkalicious. This set comes with 3 different size Butterfly Rings, matching Butterflies and matching Reneabouquets Chunky Glitter Glass.

I created a corrugated board layer using the Reneabouquets Pale Pink Glitter Glass in the set, and topped it with my photo, and then distress crackle painted some places on my layout, inked them with the ink that was in this month's kit, and then added seed beads and more Chunky Glitter Glass. The Chipboard pieces are Scrapmatts Chipboard topped with pearl embellishments.

I then took cheesecloth and burlap pieces and topped them with flowers from this month's Floral Add On that I puff painted the edges on, tucked in some of the crystal pieces from the kit,  and added it to the bottom corner of my photo. I then tucked in a little Love Stick from my Reneabouquets Romantic Trinkets Pack.

At the top corner I repeated some of the matching flowers and trims and added the Prima Resin Heart piece from this month's Embellishment Add On, and topped it with one of the Authentique Stickers from the Kit that had the sentiment "You Are So Beautiful " on it. 

At the left hand top corner I added a Reneabouquets Country Chic Horseshoe Die Cut and topped it with a matching Reneabouquets Butterfly.
