Witch Tea Cup Fairy~

I have to admit, I have been dying to do a Halloween piece, and I just couldn't resist creating one of my Fairy Tea Cups with a Halloween Theme. I used lots of past Scraps Of Darkness Kit pieces, along with some Scrapmatts pieces and one of my Digitally Altered Vintage images that I tuned into a little witch fairy.

I use actual little birds nest that I find along my hikes in the Winter, after the birds have long gone. I then dry and seal them to use them in my art. The one I used for this one was a little mud nest so I covered most of it up with trim, but IRL you can see the nest part peeking out.

I created the moon out of some Bo Bunny Zoology paper from a past SOD kit, and then sponge painted it with puff paint and turned on the heat to pump up the texture.

My Little Witch Fairy has a glitter painted hat and a set of my Little Pumpkin Butterfly wings. The little eggs are hand crafted from paper clay and painted. The flowers, sequins, tulle, feathers, wooden clock and trim are from past SOD Kits. The cat is a Scrapmatts CB6035 Cats 02
that I hand painted and added crystal eyes to.

There is a cheesecloth "spider web" with a hand painted Scrapmatts CB1135 Spiders 01
to as well as to the handle of the cup.

I took a little tea bag left of from one of my morning cuppas and 2 tone inked it, stamped it with a moon stamp and then added trim, a feather and a flower, and a little G45 Chipboard tag with a crystal, all from past SOD kits.

I love doing the little Fairy Tea Cups and this one in the Halloween theme has left me bewitched!! Thanks for stopping by~Hugs~Renea
