The following layout was created with the June Scraps Of Elegance Kit-Country Charm and features a photo
of one of my son's friends, and I love the photo, Abby is such a Natural
Beauty and the Donna Salazar papers were perfect for her photo. I love Donna Salazar's products the more I work with them the more I am
hooked on her high quality, perfect for my style products, and this kit
contained her Botanique papers which are just gorgeous, and heavy duty
which is perfect for all that distressing I love to do.
Detail closeups:
This is my second layout created with that gorgeous Scraps of Elegance
Kit featuring the oh so wonderful Botanique Papers from Donna Salazar.
It features an engagement photo that my son took of my God Daughter,
Michelle and her future husband.
I used lots of layers of the Donna Salazar papers from the kit. I distressed them using the Donna Salazar Zutter and did some punching on some of the layers.
I got the textured designs on the sides by stamping with a Prima clear stamp and Puffies.
Here you can see all the yummy layering I did with those Donna Salazar papers!
Scraps Of Elegance Items used for details:
Prima- Shabby Chic Treasured Resin (The Wishing Well)Kaisercraft- Magnolia Grove- Sticker Sheet (The Branch)
Prima Plum Leaves
Prima Coventry Tranquil Flowers
I stamped the title onto the little tag on the paper and then stamped flourishes around it and added pearl for detail. The butterflies are Ice Butterflies from my Etsy shop.
The following layouts were created with the super gorgeous Swan Song Kit that is being given away for the Scraps Of Elegance Kit Club :

The next layout is one that I created using the May Scraps Of Darkness Kit-Summer Breeze (Yes, the same one that is up for grabs!!) and features a photo of my son, Draven when he was about 18 months old hanging out with his Aunt Karen. We got such a kick out of this photo, because as you can see Draven was mocking his Aunt Karen's pose perfectly!
I started with a layers of the Prima SunKissed Paper from the kit and punched some more of the paper and cut it into strip and then added some crochet lace from my stash to create the strips running behind the photo. The paper behind the photo is another piece of the Prima paper that I distressed.
I did some lacing and made a bow with some of the gorgeous, yummy died crepe ribbon from the Romance Add On. I layered up some of the Prima Chipboard Stickers from the Romance add on and added some Prima E-pearls to create my title "Remember".
I fussy cut the sun from the kit Prima paper and Stickled the edges for
lots of shine I gave the sun a sparkle background by using a piece of
the Prima Flourish from the Kit.
The flower layer consists of a Prima Mountain Lily Sunflower piece, some Prima Sunkissed Flowers, and a Prima Vignette Sunshine flower, all from the Flora & Fauna A.O. The Prima Banners, the Craftysprinkles pin created just for this kit, Prima Chipboard Sticker and Kaisercraft Wooden Dollie were from the kit
Here I stamped the first layer with a Prima Brick Clear Stamp, stamped on top of that with a Prima Script stamp then accented the bricks with texture paste.
For the final touch I tucked a Prima Butterfly from my stash into the corner of the paper under the photo.
This is an altered box project that I created using that gorgeous Summer Breeze Kit:
I distressed and inked a layer of the Prima Sun Kissed paper from the kit, then misted a Dollie and then layered up Prima paper, and a Prima Chipboard Sticker from the Romance Add On and then mounted my Vintage image on top.
I created the floral layer using the Prima Mountain Lily piece From the Flora & Fauna Add on and some Prima Roses ,and a Prima Sparrow Nest from a past kit. I then cut a little bird from the Kit paper and attached a Prima crystal and tucked him in.
I then layered up some more of the Prima Chipboard stickers to form my title work "Family" and added a Prima Vintage Trinket from my stash. I hand died some seam binding and pleated it across the bottom of the box and then layered on some Prima crochet lace on top of it.
To complete the top of the box I created 2 hand crafted butterflies and added them on and added some stash Prima E-crystals to the top corner.
For the lip of the box. I painted it with gesso, inked it in multiple layers then added on some Tim Holtz Tissue Tape, inking the tape after application.
The sides where painted with gesso then inked in multiple layers for a distress look, then distress stamped with a Prima Clear Stamp. I then added a piece of the Prima CB and a button to create the sweet look of a drawer pull.
I hope you have enjoyed a glance at my work using the always gorgeous, always versatile Scraps Of Elegance and Scraps Of Darkness Kits. Thanks for hopping by and letting me share them with you!!!
