All Things Grow With Love~

For today's Reneabouquets Project I have a Shabby Chic Box Card with an inside pocket that has sweet matching, treasures tucked in. This card is a one of a kind item, and would be so perfect for a Special Birthday, Event or Mother's Day, and is available in the Premade Section of the Reneabouquets Website.

Please note that this Card was inspired by the Tea Party In A Box pieces created by Artist Kathy Clement (Kathy By Design). Kathy is so talented and she always inspires me in so many ways both personally and professionally.

The base of the card was created from Reneabouquets Premium Paper for durability.

Embroidered Pink Roses Lace, as well as a painted and inked Corrugated Board to lend a gorgeous Shabby Chic look and softness to the whole piece.

The image is a decoupage napkin that was gifted to me by a sweet, long time, artist friend Brandy Metcalf.

Here you can see how the design allows the card to stand and makes it a wonderful, decor piece after all the treasures are gone.

Tucked under the napkin is a Reneabouquets~ Silver Baroque Metal Frame, topped with a

Mini Whisper Pink And Ivory Mulberry Paper Rose, and a

Candy Pink Rose.

I cut out and inked the 1st part of the sentiment " All Things Grow With"

and finished out with "Love" that came from the napkin that I tore and inked.

The sweet little bird nest is completely handmade from moss I collected from trees with handmade clay eggs and real mini pinecones and branches from my hemlock trees. (You can see a larger version of this little nest in the background. I love collecting natural elements and making these pieces for my floral arrangements for my home.)

Here is the inside that has a note or journal space that closes with a magnet and is topped with a Printed Beautiful Board Tiny White Dove.

The flap with the dove closes with a magnetic closure, and opens and up for a special note or a place to journal or add photos to.

Here are the treasures from the pocket.

They include:
Envelope Containing a Packet of Certified Organic Basil Seeds
A Pack Of 3 Tiny Treasures Sweet Pea Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterflies
A Book Mark with hand dyed seam binding a little bird from the Reneabouquets Birdie Darling Trinkets.

The back is finished out in distressed paper that match the pieces for a finished, designer look.
Once all the treasures have been removed and used, this piece would make a perfect spot for storing journaling cards, photos or other cards, so that it can be displayed and used long after it has been gifted.

Hello Spring Card With Pocket & Spring Treasures~

Hello Spring and hello to everyone!!

David & I took a little time off to catch up on paperwork, taxes & machine maintenance.
The Reneabouquets.com and Reneabouquets Etsy are now back open.

Please note that we are making some changes to our hours and shipping policies.
We will now go to a semi-retired schedule. We will be open Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday as our business hours, and our off days will now be Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and all Federal Holidays.

All orders that come in will be shipped in the order that they are received, Monday-Wednesday and if your order is not ready on those days, it will rollover to the next week. Our processing times for all products, even pack and ship will be 5-7 business days. This WILL NOT include our off days, weekends and Federal Holidays. If you place a large scale order, it may take a bit longer, according to how busy we are at the time. If you have ANY questions regarding ship times, please be sure to contact us and ask before ordering. We are a made to order, small business and do not cancel or refund orders.

While I had a little extra time, I completed the following project. It is a Spring Box Card with an inside pocket that has sweet Spring treasures tucked in. This card is a one of a kind item, and would be so perfect for a Special Birthday, Event or Mother's Day, and is available in the Premade Section of the Reneabouquets Website.

The base of the card was created from Reneabouquets Premium Paper for durability.

It is Inches 7 1/4 Tall x 5 1/2 Inches Wide closed and measures 14 1/2 Inches Tall x 5 1/2 Inches Wide when opened.
The design allows for the card to stand and makes it perfect to display as well.

On the cover, it has layers of distressed Blue Fern Studios papers with the topped layer having machine sewn accents. To add a sweet, Spring look there is a Beautiful Board Bunny Rabbits Chipboard With Corrugated Base. The corrugated piece has been sponge painted with white gesso, and the bunny has a little collar made of burlap string bows and Itty Bitty Blossoms Lavender And White Mulberry Paper Flowers, and Itty Bitty Blossoms Purple Sherbet Mulberry Paper Flowers.

On the corners there are Beautiful Board Small Decorative Scroll Flourishes topped with matching Itty Bitty Blossoms, and Tiny Treasures Darling Yellow Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterflies.

Tucked under the paper roll down is Gesso Painted Corrugated Board and a nose gay of Itty Bitty Flowers tied with burlap string tucked inside.

The lace detail is

Petite Flower Lace.

At the bottom corner, I took a crocheted, lavender heart gifted to me by my sweet friend Phyllis Fernandez and topped with with a little Prima Daisy.

Here is the inside with the pocket and treasures tucked in.

The flap with the daisy closes with a magnetic closure, opens and up for a special note or a place to journal or add photos to.

Mirabelle Keepsake Gift Box With Gift Tags Set

At Reneabouquets, we just launched a new addition to our April In Paris Collection called Mirabelle In Paris. I was very excited to get to work with the collection myself. It is one thing to draw, design and manufacture a product and it is a different way to create with it when you get to actually "play" with it.

Sometimes, I just have to take the time to get to do that, because it brings me such immense joy to get to create this way.

I decided to upcycle a little box that I had in my stash and turn it into a Keepsake Gift Box. I then created a bunch of little gift tags and notes to be used for topping off those gifts we all love to give to our friends and family.

The set Includes:
Box 5" Wide x 6" Tall x 1 1/2 "Deep
2 Large Gift Tags 3" Wide x 6" Tall
1 Chipboard Gift Tag 2 1/2 " Wide x 3 1/2 " Tall
1-Glitter Glass Heart Gift Tag 2 1/2 " Wide x 2 3/4 " Tall
A Little Pocket With:
2-Double Sided Note Cards 3 1/2 " Wide x 2 1/4 " Tall

1-Booklet Style Note Card 1 1/2 " Wide x 2 1/2 " Tall

The Cover Of The Box has a layer of Prima Lavender Papers. I ran some of the Mirabelle Lace down the side edge, pleating it a little as I went. I then took a Vintage Image and topped it with a Beautiful Board Small Simply Beautiful Frame. I added Printed Beautiful Board Romance And Roses Tuck Ins to the corners. Next, a Small Sized Printed Beautiful Board Mirabelle In Paris Laser Cut Chipboard was added to the bottom, right hand corner, and the flowers are all from the Mirabelle Roses & Leaves Flower Set.

To get the crackle look, I painted the sides of the box with gold, metallic paint, let that dry, painted a layer of crackle medium, let that air dry and then painted over that with white acrylic paint and let that air dry to reveal the gorgeous crackle finish.

On the opening side of the box, I added magnets so that it stays closed, topped it with a piece from a set and then drilled a whole and glued the Glass Globe from the April In Paris Trinkets.

Inside the box is are the gift tags stacked into the box that include:

2 Large Tags, cut from Prima Lavender Papers and topped with Simply Beautiful French Embroidered Lace and Mirabelle Lace, more paper with distressed edges, a smaller version of the Vintage Image from the box, flowers from the Mini Heather Purple Mulberry Paper Spring Mix Roses And Cherry Blossoms Set and hand dyed seam binding bows.

A Beautiful Board Queen Anne's Lace ATC Tag, topped with Prima Lavender Paper, Simply Beautiful French Embroidered Lace , an Itty Bitty Printed Beautiful Board Mirabelle , flowers from the Mini Heather Purple Mulberry Paper Spring Mix Roses And Cherry Blossoms Set and a fuzzy purple hang ribbon with a tiny, Eiffel tower from the April In Paris Trinkets.

A Heart Tag, cut from chipboard, distress inked and topped with Plum Shard German Glitter Glass (so very Yummy) and a little distressed and inked "Dream" sentiment along with a fuzzy purple hang ribbon.

On the inside right page is a little pocket topped with Mirabelle Lace and a Tiny Treasures Mirabelle's Rose Garden Butterfly. Tucked inside are some little note cards created from Prima Lavender Paper.

Sweet Little Love Notes Pocket Envelopes~

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, I wanted to make some little gifts for a few friends. I don't get a lot of personal scrappy time, so I needed to make pieces that I could make multiples of while still making each one different and personal.

I took inspiration from a couple of artists for these little treasures:

The little envelope boxes were taken from a gift that was sent to me by Phyllis Fernandez ( Scrapbooking By Phyllis ). The one Phyllis sent me had been made with a die cut and did not have a bottom to hold gifts. I actually drew my own out and created it from the idea of hers.

I love Kathy Clement (Kathy By Design) and she creates projects around her (and also my) love of tea, so I chose to make them little pockets with tea bags and little heart tea spoons tucked into the pockets.

This little box was created from a Mixture of some old Prima Romance Novel & Wild & Free 6 x 6 Paper Pads that I had in my stash. I wrapped the box with Simply Beautiful French Embroidered Lace.

I used the

Beautiful Board Lacy Hearts Chipboard With Corrugated Base.
The large one that is tucked into the box is the large one from the set. I softly painted the raised part of the corrugated board with ivory paint, topped it with the Beautiful Board Piece and then added a Printed Beautiful Board Romance And Roses Tuck In onto the corner.
The small one has a paper piece that I stamped a love and floral image onto behind it. I then cut a rose piece from another Printed Beautiful Board Romance And Roses Tuck In and added that to the chipboard topper and topped that with a Tiny Treasures Sweet Nothings Premium Paper Glitter Glass Butterflies

Here you can see the little pieces that are tucked into the box. They include:

*A Chocolate Truffle tea bag wrapped in tissue paper, tied with twine and topped with a

Shabby Heart Bit that was stamped with You and topped with a piece of bling.
*A little envelope with a note card and 3 Tiny note cards cut from the papers.

*A little silver heart shaped spoon with a lace and Shabby Heart Bit accent.

This little box was created from a Mixture of some old Prima Romance Novel & Wild & Free 6 x 6 Paper Pads that I had in my stash. I wrapped the box with

Sheer Romance Lace White.
